Dr. Parsons is a native of Kansas City, Missouri where he completed his undergraduate education with honors at the University of Missouri. He completed his medical training at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he was recognized as an outstanding resident in Internal Medicine. After training, Dr. Parsons chose private practice and the open skies of West Texas to begin his career, in Alpine, Tx., for nine years and in Odessa, Tx., since 2012.

With a focus on preventive medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, and rheumatology, Dr. Parsons believes in engaging the patient in their own health and lifestyle choices to attain the best possible outcomes. Dr. Parsons specializes in internal medicine as well and is board certified.

Dr. Parsons enjoys home renovations, including cabinet building, and new technology. He is an avid hunter, long-range shooter, and musician, and is fluent in spoken Spanish.
